Fibre Optic Visual Fault Locator for SC/ST/FC/LC
Fault locators are a special class of light sources that emit a high intensity visible red laser into a patch cord or cable. This light can be used to both check the continuity of a fibre and identify the fibre's far end, or it can be used to visually identify the location of a fibre break. Most fault locators are optimised for single mode use. However, they work equally well with multimode fibre.
